Our Mission
To be the leading supplier of affordable quality precious metal cast
products, bronze sculpture and giftware to the public and religious
communities.
Our Company
Trinity Casting Company is committed to providing high-quality
religious and gift products to the general public at prices most can afford.
Trinity Casting Company fits perfectly between two large
religious product markets; i.e., the low-cost, mass-produced import market and the
high-priced, high margin upscale jewelry market.
We work diligently with suppliers to keep our raw material
costs to a minimum and pass this savings on to the customer.
We will continue to explore ways to lower our costs, thereby
allowing more people access to products that help enhance theirs and other's personal
faith relationships.
In the beginning...
Kent Puntenney founded Trinity Casting Company
after becoming frustrated with the selection and quality of many of the religious products
on the market.
(Actually, the final decision came after the corpus fell off the
crucifix he had recently purchased. Hence, you will never find
"electro-welds" or solder attachments on any crucifixes we sell! Sure,
casting the corpus and the crucifix as one unit costs more to make, but we feel the extra
quality is worth it.)
Mr. Puntenney worked seven years in the dental laboratory
industry perfecting his skills in the lost wax casting process used widely in that
industry, but also in jewelry casting. He later gained extensive business knowledge
as well as non-profit management
experience serving as financial director for other religious, non-profit and for-profit
organizations. He received an MBA degree from Portland State University
and a B.S. in Economics from Arizona State University.
Our Technology
Trinity Casting Company combines the best of both worlds! We use
casting techniques and the same skills used by silversmiths throughout the ages.
But, we also recognize the cost-efficiencies created by today's computers and design
software.
Therefore we use the following state-of-the-art technologies:
- Alias/Wavefront's Maya 4.5 graphical design software
This is the same award-winning software used to develop many of the
scenes in such current movies as "Spiderman", "Ice Age", and "The
Perfect Storm."
- Computer-aided wax pattern milling, able to mill as fine as 5/1000
of an inch
- Vaccuum Investing and Casting
- Vibratory Finishing Processes
