At Trinity Casting Company, we use

only Argentium® sterling silver.

Why? Argentium® sterling silver adds many benefits over some of the other methods of making sterling silver objects practiced today.

1) It does not tarnish like normal sterling silver and will keep its shine for a long time. Unlike most companies today who coat their sterling silver with rhodium, what you see with Argentium® sterling silver is the true silver shining through. There is "nothing artificial added!"

2) It is easy to adjust sizes if necessary. For example, if you need to have a rhodium plated ring reduced in size, the band would need to be cut and soldered. The rhodium plating, though, would be destroyed in the heat of soldering and would be nearly impossible to bring back to its original look. Stripping off the rhodium and then reapplying it after soldering is costly. None of these problems exist with the Argentium® sterling silver.

3) Take a look at the other manufacturers' sterling silver. If it looks like it has a superficial or "plastic coated" look to it, it is probably rhodium plated. When you take a look at Argentium® sterling silver, you will immediately see that it has the rich, deep luster for which sterling silver has historically been prized for.

4) Argentium® sterling silver can be cast to be stronger than normal sterling silver. This helps in preserving the casting's great look and crisp edges even through everyday "wear and tear". This sterling silver is meant to be worn and used!  Rhodium plating wears off and leaves "black spots" were the underlying tarnished silver appears through the whiter rhodium surface.

Does Argentium® sterling silver cost more? Just a bit, but we feel its worth it! Look at our prices compared to others in the market. We are still lower than most competitors. How can we do it if we use a more expensive silver? Not telling... That's our competitive advantage!
